542 new cases of Kovid-19 registered in Odisha, one death

Bhubaneswar (IANS) | On Wednesday, 542 new cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in Odisha and one person has died. As per the latest official figures, 7 thousand 571 new samples have been tested, out of which 542 people have tested positive. As per the report, the total number of active patients in the state has increased to 3,270.

According to media reports, this is the second time in the last four days that more than 500 cases of Kovid-19 have been registered in the state. Last Sunday, the state recorded 502 cases of coronavirus.

Apart from this, 357 people have defeated the corona virus in the state, with this the total number of people recovering in the state has increased to 13,30,488. At the same time, 9,209 people have died due to corona, while 53 deaths have been attributed to other reasons.

As per reports, the Odisha government has already made it mandatory to wear face masks in all health institutions and closed-door gathering places to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
