50 boxes of illegal liquor recovered in Ballia

Ballia: The local police of Revati in Ballia succeeded in recovering illegal liquor from the vehicle of Nagar Panchayat. Further investigation has been started by seizing about 50 boxes of liquor. It is believed that the said liquor body was brought with a view to influence the election.
Villagers caught 50 boxes of fruity liquor loaded on the cattle-loading vehicle of the local Nagar Panchayat office and handed it over to the police late on Thursday evening. Fifty cases were loaded on the said vehicle. In one case, 48 vials were kept in a case filled with 180 ml of fruity. CO Bairia Usman, who reached the police station, told that the total liquor is 432 liters. The police is probing the matter.
