5 naxalites had gone to plant IED bomb, DRG team arrested

Bijapur. In the district, the security forces have arrested five Naxalites on Wednesday. An encounter took place between Naxalites and police in the forest area of Kachalwari. After this encounter DRG arrested five Maoists. A large quantity of explosives have also been recovered from them. The police is inquiring about the incidents the Naxalites were trying to execute. Police is continuously getting success in the anti-Naxal campaign in the district. On April 17, under one such operation, there was a fierce exchange of fire between police and Naxalites near Bade Tungali village of Jangla police station area. After some time the Naxalites fled into the forest. On searching the spot after the encounter, the jawans had recovered the IED, while defusing it, a DRG jawan Shankar Paret was injured in the blast.
