5 miscreants who attacked were arrested, Raigarh police took action

Raigarh. At around 10:30 pm, Chakradharnagar police station in-charge Inspector Prashant Rao Aher received information about some mischievous youths fighting and creating ruckus near Panjri Plant Marine Drive. The police station in-charge directed the patrolling party patrolling in the immediate area to reach Marine Drive and reached the spot with additional force along with his staff. Where some boys were abusing and threatening the other party by beating them with sticks. Hearing the siren of the police car, some boys ran here and there. The police caught five youths on the spot and brought them to the police station.

An atmosphere of fear and unrest was created on the spot by the caught miscreants due to which no one came forward to complain. Chakradhar Nagar Police has registered a crime under section 147,290,294 IPC in Chakradhar Nagar police station against 8 accused. On the direction of senior officers, the station in-charge took separate action against the actions of the accused under section 151, 107,116 (3) CrPC and presented them in the SDM court. Where after issuing jail warrants for the five accused, the police have sent them to jail.

At present the model code of conduct is effective in the district. The District Police will take strict action against those elements who affect the peace and order in any way. Superintendent of Police Shri Divyang Kumar Patel has given instructions to the station incharge to take strict action against each accused involved in the case. Police station in-charge Chakradhar Nagar and his team are actively locating the absconding accused. Police will continue to take strict action against anti-social, miscreant and criminal elements who affect peace and order.

The accused were arrested and sent to jail –
(1) Soni Pandey father Late Kanhaiya Pandey age 24 years.
(2) Devesh Kumar Yadav alias Lal Pita Dil Chand Yadav, age 23 years.
(3) Sumesh Singh Sidar alias Monu, father late Phool Singh Sidar, age 26 years, all three resident of Pahar Mandir Kauhakunda police station Chakradharnagar.
(4) Aamir Ullah Khan alias Chhotu, father Chand Mohammad Umar, 25 years, resident of Premnagar, police station Chakradhar Nagar.
(5) Sanjay Mandal, father, late Ramesh Mandal, age 24 years, resident of Korea, Dadar police station, Chakradharnagar.
