5 lakhs paid and 6 times recovered, Chhattisgarh Karni Sena president’s brother arrested

Raipur news. Police arrested Rohit Tomar, brother of Karni Sena’s national vice president and Chhattisgarh president Virendra Singh Tomar alias Ruby Singh, and his manager Yogesh Sinha in a usury case. The allegation is that they gave a loan of 5 lakhs to the businessman and recovered 30 lakhs from him. The case is from Gudhiyari police station area.

It is being told that the police arrested him on 12 September and quietly sent him to jail on 13 September. Rohit Tomar’s arrest was not made public. Media was also not given any information. The accused had kidnapped the businessman at gunpoint.

The police did not disclose even after 7 days, after which the media took information about the accused usurer from Gudhiyari police. The officers were seen avoiding giving information even after the arrest. Later, Ramnagar outpost in-charge Devsharan Singh confirmed the arrest of Rohit Tomar and his associate Yogesh Sinha.
