5 gamblers arrested behind Honda showroom in Raipur

Raipur. Purani Basti police has arrested 5 gamblers. Police had received information from an informer that some gamblers were playing card gambling in a public place behind Chhira Para Bhata village G.K. Honda showroom, betting on winning and losing. On the information, a team was immediately formed and reached the spot, cordoned off the area and caught the gamblers who were playing the game of winning and losing by betting on money. 04 motor cycles, 05 mobiles, cash amount of Rs. 4.06.550 and playing cards were seized from them and crime number 570/2024 under section 3 of Gambling Act was registered against the gamblers and the accused were arrested.

Let us tell you that under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Ummed Singh and under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police West Daulat Ram Porte, Additional Superintendent of Police City Lakhan Patle and under the supervision of City Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dewangan, campaigns are being run to take action against businesses like gambling and betting!
