5.779 kg ganja recovered

Baddi. As part of the campaign against drugs in the industrial area BBN, the police arrested two migrant drug smugglers along with a consignment of ganja from near Shiksha Kunj in Kalujhinda.

Police have recovered 5.779 kg of ganja from the accused smugglers. The police have registered a case under the NDPS Act and arrested both the accused. Police are investigating from where the drug consignment was brought and where it was to be delivered.

According to the information, during patrolling, the police team under Barotiwala police station stopped two people near Shiksha Kunj in Kalujhinda on the basis of suspicion and searched them, and a huge quantity of ganja was recovered from them.

In this context, the police have started action by registering a case against the accused Sonu Sahni, son of Shiv Sahni, resident of village Shyampur tehsil Lalganj district Vaishali Bihar and Jitan Kumar resident of village Shyampur post office Hasikewal tehsil Lalganj district Vaishali Bihar. Police have recovered 5.779 kg of ganja from the accused. On the other hand, DSP Baddi Priyank Gupta said that the police have arrested both the accused by registering a case under the NDPS Act.
