41 lakh cash recovered from scooty, seized by police during blockade

When the police asked for the account of such a huge amount, the youth could not give any answer. Police suspect that this money may be related to hawala business.

According to the information, this incident is of Shivaji Chowk of Kotwali police station area of ​​Nagpur. Police was checking the vehicles passing on the road by blocking the road. During this, the police saw a scooty without a number plate. Police stopped it and investigated it. During this, 41 lakh rupees cash was recovered from the scooty’s trunk. The youth could not give any concrete account of this amount, due to which the police suspect that it may be money from illegal transactions. Zone 3 DCP Mehak Swami said that the accused youths have been taken into custody. The Income Tax Department has been informed about this.

The police have registered a case against both the youths and started an in-depth investigation. The police is now trying to find out where this money came from and where it was being taken.
