40 CRPF companies will run Operation Hunter in Chhattisgarh

Raipur. About 40 companies of CRPF are reaching Chhattisgarh. After this big operation, security forces will have access to every area considered to be the stronghold of Naxalites in Chhattisgarh.

Recently, CRPF and local police have set up camps in areas of Sukma which have been identified as battalion headquarters of Naxalites. CRPF and local police have established a new camp at Sukma between Duled and Metaguda on the border of Bijapur district. This year, about 44 new security camps will be established in Naxal affected areas.

According to sources in the Union Home Ministry, Home Minister Amit Shah has said that within two years there should not be any part of the country left where there is Naxal influence. Security forces should not have access to such areas. This is the reason why a decisive fight against Naxalites is going to start this year. Except Chhattisgarh, Naxalite incidents have been controlled to a great extent in the rest of the country.

Last year itself, in Jharkhand, security forces had reached every area which was considered a stronghold of Naxalites. After driving away the Naxalites from many areas, the security forces had established their permanent camps. Wherever a camp of security forces is established, development work immediately picks up pace in that area. The standard of living of the villagers starts improving.
