39 absconding warrants arrested, all were absconding for a long time

Raigarh. In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Shri Divyang Kumar Patel, regular investigation and detection of absconding accused and warrants is going on in the district. In the same sequence, yesterday on 19th April, the police teams under various police station areas of the district, while serving 13 permanent and 26 arrest warrants, who were absconding for a long time, arrested the warrantees, who will be presented in the court soon. The arrested are accused of warranty-theft, assault, excise and various crimes. When he did not appear in the court on the scheduled appearance date, an arrest/permanent warrant was issued against him by the Honorable Court.

In the subdivision-wise proceedings on absconding warrants, 02 permanent and 01 arrest warrants were issued from Kotwali police station of Raigarh sub-division, 03 permanent warrants from Chakradharnagar, 04 arrests and 01 permanent warrant from Jutmill, 08 arrest warrants from Kotrarod, 01 permanent warrant and 02 arrest warrants from Pusaur police station. A total of 22 permanent/arrest warrants have been served. At the same time, Kapitpathra police station has served 02 permanent warrants and Tamnar police station has also served 01 permanent and 01 arrest warrant.

08 absconding warrantees have been caught in Kharsia sub-division, in which police station Chaal has served 04 arrest warrants, outpost Jobi has served 02 permanent warrants and outpost Kharsia has served 01 arrest and 01 permanent warrant. Similarly, 02 arrest warrants each from Dharamjaygarh police station and Rairumakhurd outpost of Dharamjaygarh sub-division and 01 arrest warrant from Lailunga, a total of 05 warrants have been served. Action will continue against the absconding accused and those who disturb peace. Police appeals to compulsorily appear on the summons/warrant issued from the court.
