30 year old man hanged from fan of house, police engaged in investigation

Delhi. The body of a 30-year-old man was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his house in Delhi. Delhi Police said on Wednesday that the deceased was identified as Rahul Panwar, resident of Karawal Nagar. Police received information about a hanging body at around 7.40 am. The police team that reached the spot saw that the person was hanging from the fan with a muffler. Deputy Commissioner of Police Joy Tirkey said, “Crime and FSL team visited the spot. The body was taken to GTB hospital and after post-mortem the body was handed over to the relatives.” During the initial investigation, the DCP said that no suicide note was found. However, it seems that the deceased had borrowed money from some people and was not able to return it. Rahul Panwar was appointed as ‘Contract Collection Manager’ by the bus operators. He is survived by his wife and a daughter.
