3 youths arrested with bundles of ganja, had gone out to supply
Raipur. Three youths have been arrested with a bundle of ganja. The team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit received information that a two-wheeler vehicle number CG 04 M.G. was found near the railway station goods warehouse under the police station Mandir Hasaud area. Two boys traveling in 5064 have ganja with them and are selling it. Under the direction of senior officers, a joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Thana Mandir Hasaud Police went to the said place, traced the vehicles and persons of the vehicles mentioned by the informer, identified the vehicles and persons and arrested them. During interrogation, the persons revealed their names to be Karan Yadav and Anil Maheshwari alias Chauk. When the team members searched the trunk of their two-wheeler, it was found that the drug ganja was kept in the trunk. On which both the accused were arrested by the team members and 02 kg 76 grams of ganja and sale amount of Rs. 410, Jumla worth approximately Rs. 17,100/- and 02 mobile phones related to the incident and Pulsar motor cycle number CG 04 M.G. were recovered from their possession. 5064 was seized and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 09/2024 under Section 20B Narcotic Act in Police Station Mandir Hassaud.
Similarly, under the direction of senior officers, a joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Devendra Nagar Police Station arrested his Activa vehicle number CG near Chhattisgarh Bhojnalaya located in Shastri Nagar under Devendra Nagar police station area. 04 lb Amar Sarathi alias Chhotu, accused of keeping and selling ganja in number 8744, was arrested and 01 kg 900 gm ganja and sale amount of Rs 500, worth approximately Rs 18,000 and Activa vehicle number CG related to the incident was recovered from his possession. 04 lb 8744 were seized and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 06/2024 under Section 20B Narcotic Act in Devendra Nagar police station.
