3 people including an elderly man died in a road accident in Durg

Durg. Tuesday was a day full of accidents in Durg. A schoolgirl, an elderly man, and a young man tragically died in three road accidents in different areas of the district. These accidents, caused by speeding and negligence, have shaken the entire region, and the police have launched an investigation into all three cases.
The first incident occurred on the Dhamdha-Khairagarh road, where 10-year-old Chhaya Sahu was killed after being hit by a speeding bike. It was reported that Chhaya, a resident of Dharampura, was on her way to school on her bicycle as usual when a bike rider, Madhav Yadav, from Khorpa, hit her. The impact was so severe that the girl fell into the bushes. The accused fled the scene after the accident, although the police later arrested him. Locals rushed the injured girl to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
The second incident occurred at Supella Sunday Market in Bhilai, where an elderly man riding a bicycle was hit by an unknown vehicle at around 10 p.m. Upon receiving the information, the police placed the body in the mortuary of Lal Bahadur Government Hospital. The deceased has not yet been identified. Police are searching for the driver based on CCTV footage.
The third incident occurred near Sirsa Gate in the Old Bhilai police station area, where a truck hit the bike of 64-year-old K. Laxman Rao, a resident of Padum Nagar. He died on the spot. Police have sent the body for a postmortem and are searching for the truck driver.
