2551st Nirmanotsav of Bhagwan Mahavir Swami was celebrated

Today on 1st November, Friday, on the new moon day of Kartik month Krishna Paksha, in Shri Adinath Digambar Jain Bada Mandir (Small Tirth) Malviya Road of the capital Raipur, the 2551st Moksha Kalyanak Mahotsav of the 24th Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavir Swami was celebrated with devotion in a religious atmosphere in front of the Parshvanath altar of the Jinalaya. Former Vice President of the Jinalaya Shreyash Jain Balu said that today at 8 am, the religious loving brothers of the society participated in the collective worship in front of the Parshvanath altar of the Jinalaya and first of all, by reciting the Mangalashtak, the 24th Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavir Swami was seated on the Panduk Shila by writing Shrikar. After purifying the water and reciting the Abhishek Paath, everyone performed Jalabhishek of Bhagwan Mahavir with silver urns with pure water.
Today, the Riddhi Siddhi Sukh Shanti Pradaar Shanti Dhara of Bhagwan Mahavir was performed, which Shailendra Akshat Jain Jain Handloom family got the privilege of doing. The promise of Shanti Dhara was given by Rasu Jain. After Shanti Dhara, everyone performed devotional Aarti of Lord Mahavir with equality, due to which the whole Jain temple resounded. After that, everyone offered Arghya made of eight substances, worshipped the nine deities, read the Nirvana Kand of the 24th Tirthankar Lord Mahavir and offered Shri fruit and Nirman Laddu with Om Hreem Kartik Krishna Amavasya Mokshamangal Manditay Shree Mahavir Jinendray Arghya Nirvapamiiti Swaha Mantra. In the end, the worship was immersed by reading the Visarjan Paath. After Abhishek Puja, all the people present hugged each other and congratulated each other on Nirman Utsav and Deepawali festival. On this occasion, a large number of religion loving youth, young men, women, children were present in the Jain temple today.
Shreyash Jain Balu told that Lord Mahavir, who gave the message of live and let live, is the 24th and last Tirthankar of Jainism. Mahavir Swami had attained Nirvana by attaining Kaivalya Gyan in Swati Nakshatra on the day of Kartik Krishna Amavasya. In Jainism, emphasis is given on attainment of Vairagya Lakshmi instead of wealth, fame and splendor Lakshmi. Every year on the day of Deepawali, Lord Mahavir’s Nirvana Utsav is celebrated in Jainism. Lord Mahavir Swami attained salvation on the day of Kartik Amavasya. On the same day in the evening, Shri Gautam Swami attained Kaivalya Gyan, then the gods appeared and created Gandhakuti and increased the importance of Deepotsav by worshiping Gautam Swami and Kaivalya Gyan.
