25 crossings of Raipur city freed from encroachment
Raipur. Under the leadership of the Chief Minister of the state Vishnu Dev Sai and guidance of Deputy Chief Minister of Urban Administration and Development Department Arun Saw, as per the orders of Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, as per the instructions of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Ummed Singh, Raipur District Administration, Municipal Corporation Administration and Police Administration, Traffic Department, taking a joint initiative, work and efforts are being done to make the traffic of various routes of the capital city Raipur smooth and well-organized, keeping in view the public convenience in public interest. By removing encroachments from various 25 intersections of the city, permanent rotary is being constructed to provide smooth traffic to the citizens there. For smooth traffic, the work of widening the road from Bhatgaon Chowk to Kathadih is being done soon. Road dividers are being constructed in various routes as per practical requirement. New road is being constructed in Make in India Marg Chowk, Avanti Vihar Marg.
New cable construction is also in progress continuously in various routes, so that the road gets a well-organized form soon. New traffic signals are being installed at Shankar Nagar Chowk, Lakhe Nagar Chowk, ISBT Chowk, so that traffic on the main roads of the city can be smooth and well-organized. On the joint initiative of Raipur District Administration, Municipal Corporation Administration, Police Administration, Traffic Department, the work of streamlining various roads and providing smooth traffic to the citizens is in progress at a fast pace. On the instructions of Raipur District Collector, continuous monitoring of the public welfare campaign is being done by Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra and Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Ummed Singh.
