22 nominations filed in Punjab for Lok Sabha elections

Punjab: On the second day of filing nominations for Lok Sabha elections, 20 candidates have filed 22 nominations for 13 Lok Sabha seats of Punjab.

Punjab CEO Sibin C said that one candidate each from Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Anandpur Sahib and Fatehgarh Sahib has filed his nomination papers. Five candidates have filed nominations from Sangrur, while three candidates each from Amritsar and Patiala have filed nominations.
Two out of three candidates from Patiala have filled two nomination forms each. Two candidates have filed nominations from Faridkot and three from Ludhiana. The CEO said that no candidate filed nomination papers for Firozpur, Khadur Sahib, Bathinda and Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seats on Wednesday.
