21 lakh rupees were snatched from a young man in the name of appointing a clerk in the High Court

Yamunanagar: In the name of appointing a clerk in the High Court, Rs 21 lakh was grabbed from Sanjeev Kumar, resident of Malikpur Bangar village. The allegation has been leveled against Chain Singh, resident of Rathpura Colony, Pinjore, district Panchkula, his son Himanshu and his wife. After investigating the matter, the police registered a case against the three accused on charges of fraud and started action. The police is investigating the matter According to the information received, Sanjeev Kumar told in the complaint given to the police that he had met Chain Singh in July 2023.
The accused told him that he was working as a secretary in the Treasury Office, Chandigarh. He has talks with all the judges in the High Court and two judges are his relatives. He will get him appointed as a clerk in the High Court. For this the accused asked him for Rs 21 lakh. Trusting the accused, she said yes. During this the accused asked him for his documents. He scanned and sent the documents to the accused. After this the accused first asked him for Rs 3 lakh. He gave three lakh rupees to the accused. After this the accused told him that his work would be done soon. The accused, along with his son Himanshu, took around Rs 21 lakh, sometimes in the name of file and sometimes in the name of medical. The accused assured that his work would be done soon.
After this he got a call from the accused that his work was done. The accused gave him a joining letter. When he reached the High Court with the letter, he came to know that it was fake. He talked to the accused about this. The accused asked for a few days’ time to return the money. But even after this the accused did not return his money. When she talked to the accused, he threatened to kill her. He informed the police about the matter. After investigating the matter, the police registered a case against the accused and started action.
