2025 Kia Carens will be launching in India on May 8, Latest leak highlights important details

The Kia Carens will be getting a facelift very soon and the new version will be launched on May 8, 2025 reported Autocar India. The Kia Carens facelift will be offering some technological upgrades when compared to the current model. The engine on the facelift model is expected to remain the same as before.
According to the spy shots published by various tipsters, the Kia Carens gets refreshed grille at the front and refreshed bumper along with many other updates. The MPV is expected to offer alloy wheels while the rear end offers better LED lightbar. The interior of the car is yet to be seen in the spy shots. It is expected that the new Carens will get updated trim for the dashboard as well as doors.
The safety features on the 2025 Kia Carens is expected to include 360-degree camera along with Level 2 ADAS. There will also be a larger infotainment touchscreen, updated digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof and much more.
Mechanically, the Kia Carens facelift is expected to remain the same as the outgoing version. This means that it will be offered in three 1.5-litre engine options. It includes 1.5-litre naturally aspirated, four-cylinder engine, 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The NA petrol engine gets a 6-speed manual gearbox and can generate a 115 hp of power and a peak torque of 144 Nm. The turbo petrol engine will produce 160 hp power and 253 Nm of torque. It will be paired with 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The diesel engine will produce a peak power output of 116 hp and 250 Nm of torque. It will be paired with 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter auto.
