2 youths killed, another critical as bike hits roadside tree in Odisha’s Kandhamal

Daringbadi: In a tragic incident, as many as two youths were killed in a bike accident in Kandhamal district of Odisha on Thursday. The accident took place at the Mango Khalia Ghati near Shraniketa under Daringbadi Police limits.

The deceased youths have been identified as Shambhunath Pradhan and Mantu Pradhan of Pangarah village under Shraniketa Panchayat

As per reports, the youths were returning home from Dankimaha village in a bike. When they were crossing the Mango Khalia Ghati near Shraniketa, the rider might lose balance and hit a roadside tree.

As a result, two of the youths were died on the spot while the third one sustained critical injury.

The locals rescued the injured youth and rushed him to the hospital. He is now under treatment.

After getting information about the accident, Daringbadi police reached the spot and started action. Police seized the two bodies and sent for autopsy.

Further probe of the case is underway.
