2 more Bangladeshis arrested in Ulhasnagar, Crime Branch and Police took action

Maharashtra: After the attack on Saif Ali Khan, the issue of Bangladeshi infiltrators has come to the fore in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and raids by the local Crime Branch and police have revealed that many Bangladeshis are living in hiding without any valid documents. Recently, the Crime Branch and Vitthalwadi Police in Ulhasnagar arrested two Bangladeshis who were working and living here. In the last few days, the Ulhasnagar Crime Branch had taken action against 16 Bangladeshi infiltrators in various operations.

It is worth mentioning that most of these Bangladeshis were found living in chawls in the corners of the city. Recently, the police have arrested two more Bangladeshis while taking action in Ashele village, which comes under the jurisdiction of Vitthalwadi police station. In this, a Bangladeshi woman has been arrested in the action taken by the Ulhasnagar Crime Branch. The name of the arrested woman is Ruma Bibi Hafizul Khan (40). She used to live in Kolkata earlier. After that she settled in Khadegoveli area. Police have also registered a case against the landlord Rafiq Biswas (49) who provided accommodation to the woman. The Crime Branch took this action based on secret information under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Ashok Koli. In the second action, Bangladeshi Munirul Mahimuddin Sardar (41), resident of Darshana Colony, Gopi Kadu Chawl in Ashele Pada, has been arrested. This action is part of the ongoing campaign against illegal immigrants. Police are investigating the matter further.
