2 IED bombs recovered from the road, defused by BDS

Bijapur. Today, cases like arson and planting of IEDs by Naxalites are coming to light. Meanwhile, once again 2 IEDs planted by Naxalites on Cherpal road have been seized. It is being told that 2 IEDs of 5 kg each have been recovered.

At the same time, information has been received that IED was recovered during de-mining, which was defused by the team of BDS Bijapur.

Let us tell you that these days a lot of violence is being created by Naxalites. At least three Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security personnel in Dantewada district on Sunday.

A senior officer gave this information. Inspector General of Police (Bastar Range) Sundarraj P told PTI that the encounter took place around 5.30 pm on a hill near Dabbakunna village under Katekalyan police station area when a joint team of security personnel was on an anti-Naxal operation.
