2 Arrested with Illegal Weapons: Punjab Police

Punjab: The Punjab Police announced on Saturday that they have arrested two individuals found in possession of illegal weapons who were plotting a robbery. Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav stated that the Anti-Gangster Task Force, in a joint operation with the Bathinda Police, arrested Jackie Kumar (alias Jackie) and Vikas Arora.
The DGP shared on X that the duo was allegedly planning to rob a businessman in Bathinda. He further informed that two country-made .32 bore pistols (along with magazines) and four live cartridges were recovered from their possession. He added that preliminary investigations have revealed that these weapons were procured from Delhi. The DGP further noted that Vikas Arora has a criminal history, which includes a case of domestic violence.
