15 miscreants arrested in Raipur, police got success in raid

Raipur. Senior Superintendent of Police Raipur Dr. Santosh Singh (BPS) held a meeting of all gazetted officers and station in-charges at 10.00 pm yesterday to curb the increasing crimes in Raipur city and directed to take strict action.

Under the direction of SSP Raipur Dr. Santosh Singh (BPS) and guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police West Daulatram Porte, City Superintendent of Police Azad Chowk Aman Kumar Jha (BPS), Station in-charge Azad Chowk Inspector Pramod Kumar Singh conducted a special campaign in the night itself and 12 arrest warrants were arrested by raiding their hideouts and brought to the police station. 03 miscreants who were involved in fighting and terrorism in the area were arrested and brought to the police station by taking action under Section 170 BNSS.

Today, after getting the health check-up of 15 miscreants done, the station in-charge had to call a bus from the police line for security to present them in the court of Raipur and the station in-charge himself had to go for treatment and to the court. The role of Sub Inspector Anil Sahu, constable Deepak Sen, Rajesh Soni, Mukesh Pandey, Bhojraj Sonwani was commendable in catching the warrantees and miscreants. They were rewarded by SSP Sir.
