11-year-old boy wrote 600 lines of code to build rocket in China

New Delhi: An 11 year old boy from China has become a social media sensation recently after writing 600 lines of code to build a rocket.

Yan Hongsen from China developed interest for rockets when he was merely four year old after witnessing the Long March -2 lift off, reported South China Morning Post.

Influenced, he then took online courses and self-studied physics and chemistry.

According to reports, Yan launched the rocket named Sen Xing, in June 2023. Unfortunately, it crashed due to a parachute malfunction. However, he did not lose heart and again worked on his next rocket mission.

The prodigy is now planning to launch his second rocket. He reportedly dreams to build a real rocket for China so that the universe can be explored. While his parents are also supportive, he has a huge followers on social media as he documents his rocket development.
