New Delhi (IANS) | The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested the man who shot a woman in Delhi’s Saket Court complex on Friday morning from Faridabad in Haryana, official sources said. The victim woman, M. Radha, aged in her 40s, was shot at the lawyers’ block in Saket Court and her condition is now stable.

The accused, identified as Kameshwar Kumar Singh, who has been banned by the Bar Council, had entered the court dressed as a lawyer and carrying a gun. He shot Radha in front of the lawyers’ block around 10.30 am.

A video of the incident is also going viral on social media in which Singh can be seen running after the woman and shooting her. The woman is crying out and several people including lawyers can be seen standing nearby.

He received two bullet injuries in the stomach and one in the arm, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Chandan Chowdhary, who was taken to Max Saket Hospital. His condition is stable. According to eyewitnesses, a total of 4-5 rounds were fired and the accused fled from the rear side of the court canteen.

DCP said, further investigation is on.
