106 buses engaged in school duty blacklisted, traffic police action

Raigarh. The fitness of school buses is being checked in the district. In such a situation, school buses were checked for 3 days. During this, the fitness certificate of 10 buses was found to be invalid. After which action has been taken against them for fine. According to the information, the Transport Flying Squad team took challan action of a total of 38 thousand rupees against the concerned buses between 11 and 13 August. Also, outstanding tax of Rs 55,989 was recovered from two school buses. At the same time, 106 buses have already been blacklisted.
The schools on whose buses this action was taken include Aricent Education Society, Divine Life School, Gyan Dhara Education, Academic Bright Public School and Rising Kids Higher Secondary School.
On the instructions of Collector Mayank Chaturvedi, a special inspection camp was organized by the District Transport Office at the Mini Stadium on 21, 22 and 29 June to investigate the 16 points prescribed by the Supreme Court regarding the safety of school buses. Then many school buses did not reach the camp for inspection. In such a situation, all the 106 absent buses have already been blacklisted on the vehicle portal.
