10,000 teachers to be appointed in Odisha at the earliest, says Nityananda Gond

Bhubaneswar: The BJP government has appointed 18,000 teachers in Odisha recently, another 10,000 teachers will be appointed at the earliest. This information was given in the Odisha Assembly by School and Mass Education Minister Nityanand Gond while answering a question.

According to reports, the School and Mass Education Minister Nityanand Gond while answering a question, said that closed schools will be reopened. There is a system to open schools in the schedule area if there are at least 40 children. On the other hand, there have to be at least 20 children in a non-schedule area for the schools to reopen.

During the previous BJD government, 5,632 schools were hastily merged. School and Mass Education Minister Nityanand Gond said while answering another issue, said that closed schools will be reopened. It is worth mentioning here that BJD MLA Ganeswar Behera had asked the question that during the elections, the BJP had announced to open all closed schools but so far no action has been taken in this regard.

The question was answered by the School and Mass Education Minister Nityanand Gond by saying that the schools will be reopened and as many as 10,000 teachers will be appointed.
