10-year-old student from Hyderabad wrote a fictional book
Hyderabad: Daivik, a class 5 student studying at Manthan School of Hyderabad, has written his first book ‘Mystery of the Missing Jewels’ at the age of just 10 years. The book has been listed in Braibooks and is about a kingdom known for the art of gem making and how the prince unravels the mystery of gems stolen by thieves. Since its release, the fantasy story has been praised by book lovers while the young author recently received a Platinum Author Certificate from Braibooks as the book has gained popularity among readers in a very short span of time.
“I have always loved reading books and have a special interest in fantasy stories. The plot of the story is created from my imagination and is inspired by many fantasy stories I have read before”, says Daivik. Daivik has always been fascinated by mythological creatures like dragons and has developed a keen interest in reading fantasy stories. He says his favourite authors are Tracey West and Thea Stilton. Daivik’s mother Soujanya had noticed her son’s interest in novels since childhood. She says, “Davik also likes writing stories, which gave me the idea of encouraging him to write a book.”
