10 year old innocent girl raped, predator arrested

Raipur. A 10 year old innocent girl was raped in the capital Raipur on Sunday. The accused lured the innocent child by giving him chocolate while playing, then took him to a deserted area away from home and committed the rape. In this case, Dharsiwa police arrested the accused as soon as they received the complaint. According to the information, the victim girl is a resident of a village in Dharsiwa police station area. The accused lives in his neighbourhood. The victim is only 10 years old while the age of the accused is said to be 20 years.

The child was playing in front of the house at around 9 pm on Sunday night. Then accused Ajay Kumar Nishad reached there. After finding the victim alone, he lured her with chocolate. Taking the opportunity, he took the victim to a deserted area at some distance from the house. After raping the girl, he frightened her and forbade her from telling the matter to anyone. When the girl reached home, she was nervous, after which her mother became suspicious. When the mother talked to the girl, the girl narrated her ordeal to her. The girl’s family members reached Dharsiwa police station on Monday morning and complained to the police. As soon as the police received the complaint, they reached the house of the first accused where the accused was present. The police arrested him and presented him in the court, after which the court sent him to jail.
