टेरर फंडिग मामले में NIA की बड़ी कार्रवाई

Patna | The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken action in the Terror Funding case in the Magadh zone area of Bihar. According to the information received, the NIA team raided Arwal district on Monday. At the same time, on June 23, a person has been arrested in connection with the CPI(M) terror funding case in connection with the efforts being made for the revival of the banned organization in Magadha region.

According to NIA, the arrested accused Anandi Paswan alias Anand Paswan has more than five criminal cases registered in different police stations of Bihar. Anandi Paswan’s wife is currently the head of Pariyari Panchayat. This is the fourth arrest in the case related to Terror Financing Network jointly run by CPI(M) cadres and Over Ground Workers (OGWs) in Magadha region.

Last year also on February 12, the team raided Anandi Paswan’s house. He is close to notorious Naxalite Pradyuman Sharma. On February 12, separate raids were conducted in Magadha region at Rustampur village of Hulasganj police station area, along with senior commander of CPI Maoist’s Senior Action Committee, Pradyuman Sharma alias Kundan alias Saket alias Lulha.

Raids were conducted in five different villages of Jehanabad and Arwal. Vikas Sharma in Mokinpur, Rajeev Sharma in Keula and Dharampur village were raided in Hulasganj. During a raid at Pariyari Panchayat head representative Anandi Paswan in Nirkhpur village in Kinjar in Arwal, a bag containing 14 cartridges and a licensed rifle of 315 bore was recovered from the private guard’s bag.

The team had arrested Radheshyam Sharma, a resident of Badheta village under Parasbigha police station area of Jehanabad. The NIA team took bank passbooks, pen and Aadhaar cards, vehicle and house papers, mobiles and diaries from all places.

NIA’s investigation so far has revealed that efforts were on to raise funds to activate the party in Magadha zone. For this, the organization was trying to raise funds for the purchase of arms and ammunition and recruitment of new cadres.

As per information, all the accused were in contact with Naxals lodged in various jails and OWG to revive and strengthen Naxal activities in Magadha region. The NIA had registered the case on December 30, 2021 taking suo motu cognizance. The inspection of the matter is going on.
